Bedridden patients are individuals who suffer from severe physical limitations, making them unable to
care for themselves. Most of them require full assistance in daily care. PMOKUM recognizes the urgent
need for special items to help them live more comfortably, hygienically, and with dignity.
Program Objectives:
-To provide essential items to bedridden patients.
-To assist in supplying basic necessities when they are cut off from access.
-To ease the burden on caregivers in managing patients' daily needs.
To raise public awareness about the needs of bedridden individuals.
Target Recipients:
Bedridden patients identified by PMOKUM through surveys and referrals from hospitals, health clinics,
or local communities.
Proposed List of Essential Items:
-Adult disposable diapers
-Air or low-pressure mattresses (anti-bedsore mattresses)
-Antibacterial wet wipes / moist tissues
-Disposable gloves
-Disposable cloths / underpads
-Anti-bedsore creams
-Disinfectants (hand sanitizers / antiseptic lotion)
-Wheelchairs / adjustable beds (subject to large donations)
-Feeding tubes / assistive eating devices
-Special bathing equipment (e.g. bath sponges, bed bath kits)
Program Duration:
6 months (for the first round of distribution), with monitoring and reporting.
Estimated Cost (if required):
Each patient is estimated to need RM250 worth of items per month, depending on individual needs.
We aim to support 100 bedridden patients across Malaysia.
RM250 x 100 people = RM25,000
